PORT COMPLEX IN VUNG RO BAY, VIETNAM

The port complex, located in the waters of Vung Ro Bay, Phu Yen Province, Vietnam, by the nature of its operating activities, is a marine transport and transhipment terminal in the system of industrial enterprises: oil transshipment complex - coastal oil depot - oil refinery.

The main production facility of the port complex is an oil pier with four berths, which ensures the unloading of crude oil and loading of petroleum products from refineries, and the receipt and dispatch of petroleum products from an onshore oil depot.

The general cargo area with a dry cargo berth provided as part of the projected port complex will ensure the delivery of construction materials, mechanisms, as well as parts, assemblies, structures and technological equipment to these construction sites during the construction of port facilities, coastal oil depot structures and an oil refinery. After completion of construction and installation work, the facilities of this cargo area with a berth are planned to be operated as a transshipment complex with an estimated cargo turnover of up to 350 thousand tons per year for processing general cargo for open and covered storage.
